FOUNDED IN 1995, CYD ANNUALLY SERVES STUDENTS AND ALUMNI, MOST OF WHOM ARE UNDER-CREDITED FOR THEIR AGE, ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS, AND/OR DEALING WITH SIGNIFICANT SOCIAL ISSUES SUCH AS HOUSING INSTABILITY, PARENTHOOD OR MEDICAL HEALTH ISSUES.
